Why BASIC?

BASIC is based on (see what I did there?) the idea that one needs to understand the fundamentals of something before moving to the next level. This is especially true when it comes to business marketing and communications. BASIC is also an acronym that represents who we are. B is for Barri. A is for Angela. Combined, we are seasoned (S) innovators (I) and creatives (C).

We have been freelancers and workers in our respective fields for over 15 years, have worked together on multiple projects, and have been BFFs for over 25 years. We have helped individuals, businesses, and nonprofits in areas of branding, design, marketing, content creation, project management, and communications. To say we have learned a few things is an understatement.

We decided to create this space just for us. BASIC is part of our creative journey. A place where we can talk about ideas, give advice and tips, and write blogs about whatever we want. Who knows what you will find! This is our space to share with you. We certainly have plans and ideas to grow the space into more. However, we are taking it one day at a time for now. No pressure. Just fun.
